Let's not fool ourselves. There is nothing sexy about office furniture. Price, selection and on-time delivery? Solid retail promises, but not things that would provide the breakthrough and consumer engagement we were after. Thankfully, Office Furniture USA wanted their advertising to stand out in a category that was comparable to watching furniture polish dry on a credenza.
So, our thinking was, if there's no one out there ridiculously fired up about office furniture, why don't we just create someone who is?
